With its wonderful southern exposure, and sublime views of the Grandes Rouses mountain range and La Fare waterfall, Vaujany is a village resort at the heart of the most beautiful ski areas of Europe, & part of the exciting project linking Alpe d'Huez and Les 2 Alpes via a ski lift.
Vaujany offers world class facilities that even much larger resorts could even dream of - escalators connect each level of the village day and night, the lift system is of the highest quality. A High end swimming pool, Spa, Haaman, Olympic Sized Ice Rink & Bowling Alley which all sit adjacent to Chalet Vega. Clients wanting to arrange Child Care, a nursery club is also available next door to the chalet.
The area takes in 8 separate villages & includes the entire Alp d Huez ski range with more than 250km of runs over 2230m difference in altitude from 1250-3300m. There is something here for everyone; for downhill, Off Piste or cross country skiers, as well as for ski touring or snowshoeing.
After a full day of activities make the most of the charm of the village centre where you can visit the local bars, shops & sporting facilities.
Vaujany is also of course a huge summer destination with a few major international Bike events in the area including the Megga Avalanche: A legendary downhill mountain bike race in July from Pic Blanc to Alp D Huez. With Alpe d'Huez set to connect to Les Duex Alpes in 2023 via an 18 minute telecabine, creating the third largest ski domain in France and the future connection to Les Sybelles in 2025 it will create the worlds largest linked ski domain.
